I'm back to using this blog. Just needed a fresh change, fresh layout and fresh start. I'll still be blogging over at Aesthetic Consumption (formerly Scarlet & Red) so stay tune!

I don't remember when I started liking tattoos. Perhaps the thought of having a creative marking on our body, other than those of the work of God. Perhaps it's the curves that flow the contour of our body, while still in prime. No wrinkles to hide it. No birthmarks to mask it. It's a permanent marking, of course. It gives me a chuckle everytime when I see a tat on someone's arms that reads, "I love Sheila" or "I love Johnny". A rare sight but no doubt good for them. Love, after all, should last for an eternity. Marking or otherwise.
I like to choose a road often travelled and opt for something more mainstream. Having said that, I'm not a butterfly girl or particularly fond of tribal tattoos. They look nice but just not my cuppa tea.
Recently, while searching for some products, I came up this place called the World Tattoo Museum at George 5 sim. Interestingly, the museum (or shop) is housed in a converted church. Dark, shady and somewhat dreamy, I found a red tattoo that caught my attention. So I had to have it.
